Responsibilities

• Assist students with instructional tasks in group or individual settings.
• Support students with special needs using adaptive equipment and instructional media.
• Assist with development and maintenance of appropriate social behaviors.
• Escort students to and from buses and classrooms.
• Encourage participation in field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, snack, and outdoor activities.
• Assist with self-care skills and daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain and prepare records for special education programs.
