Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with the needs of all Pre-K through 12th Grade students.
• Successful completion of background checks and pre-work screening at hire.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain training including medication administration, First Aid/ CPR, CPI.

Responsibilities

• Assists with small groups and/or individual student instruction and supervision.
• Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment in various school settings (classroom, lunchroom, playground, field trips).
• Assists with classroom setup and material preparation.
• Assists with physical or behavioral needs of individual students.
• Operates standard school equipment (computer, copier, audio-visual).
• Completes clerical tasks as assigned.
• Follows IEPs and teacher directives.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Implements daily activities and supports with meals and snacks as needed.
