You will assist with small groups, maintain a safe learning environment, and help implement daily activities while adhering to IEP guidance and school policies. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant education experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in an educational setting.
  • Ability to obtain required training (medication certification, First Aid/CPR, CPI).
  • Ability to work with students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with small groups or individual student instruction and supervision.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly learning environment across multiple settings (classroom, lunch, play).
  • Prepare materials and classroom setup; assist with activities and meals as needed.
  • Support students with physical or behavioral needs and follow IEP and teacher directives.
  • Record behavioral incidents and maintain up-to-date paperwork.
