Responsibilities

• Reports to Principal/Supervisor.
• Under direct supervision of classroom teacher.
• Maintains student records as directed.
• Administers diagnostic tools as directed.
• Prepares classroom and organizes materials.
• Monitors the classroom when the teacher is absent.
• Attends in-service and faculty meetings.
• Keeps records confidential per FERPA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assists handicapped or young students with self-help activities as required.
• Supervises students on bus trips as directed.
• May perform lunchroom/bus/recess/before-after school duties.

Education
