Job summary

Hillsboro School District is seeking Educational Assistant (6 Hours) and Special Education Assistant (0.75 Hours) at Free Orchards Elementary School in Cornelius, Oregon. Under licensed staff, you will support students with IEPs, supervise in various settings, and help implement Behavior Support Plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient English communication.
• Proficient in computer and internet-based applications.
• District-approved student intervention system certificate or able to obtain in 60 days.
• Experience working with children.
• Highly Qualified status required (2 years post-secondary or associate degree).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational supports under licensed staff.
• Supervise students in various settings and monitor safety.
• Assist with Behavior Support Plan implementation.
• Support Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
