Job summary

Prevail Academy, part of National Heritage Academies in Mt. Clemens, MI, is seeking dedicated educators to support Special Education services and At Risk students. The role is 40 hours per week, with 20 hours for Special Education and 20 hours for At Risk students, and includes a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.

Located in Mt. Clemens, Prevail Academy serves K-8 students and offers a supportive leadership team, along with comprehensive development opportunities and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
• Experience working with at-risk students, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction through resource rooms, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
• Participate in professional development for special education curriculum and data tracking tools.
• Provide instructional support and assessments for students who are below grade level.
• Create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities in the applicable core content areas.
• Additional duties as assigned.
