Job summary

The School District of Milton is hiring a Special Education Aide at West Elementary. The position runs 36 hours and 15 minutes per week, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

daily, with a starting wage of $18.30 per hour and benefits included. The role supports students with disabilities in various settings and may involve personal care as needed. Qualified candidates will be compassionate, dependable, well-organized, and able to work collaboratively with staff.

Qualifications

• Provide academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support to students with disabilities.
• Assist with student transportation.
• Complete clerical tasks as needed.
• Provide personal care if required by students.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students with disabilities in various settings.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and routine tasks.
• Support transportation needs for students as assigned.
• Perform clerical tasks to help classroom operations.
