Qualifications

Participate in daily and long-range lesson and classroom activity planning.
Conduct learning exercises with small groups of students.
Guide students in developing positive relationships with peers and adults.
Assist in supervising pupils in the classroom, hallways, yards, and on field trips.

Responsibilities

Assist Pre-K through 5th grade students with toileting, dressing, feeding, positioning and self-care as needed.
Correct students' work under teacher supervision and assign additional work to remediate weaknesses.
Help meet personal and physical needs of the child under teacher guidance.
Participate in discipline procedures and reinforce behavior or academic skills as appropriate.
