Job summary

Wayne‑Finger Lakes BOCES is hiring Teacher Aides to support students across our Special Education programs throughout the region. This is meaningful, hands‑on work where your presence truly matters every single day.

We offer a 6-hour day, a 10-month calendar with summers off, and an hourly pay rate of $16.00–$18.72 plus benefits including health insurance and retirement system membership. As a Teacher Aide you will assist teachers in non-instructional duties, supervise students in multiple

Qualifications

• Civil Service eligibility for Teacher Aide required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with adults and students.
• Physically able to perform essential functions including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with non-instructional duties to support students with disabilities.
• Supervise students in classroom, hallways, lunchroom, and playground.
• Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Perform other duties related to programs and attend required trainings.
