Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Ontario, CA for a contract full-time position. The role supports students in instructional and behavioral areas under supervision of the special education team, with a 35-hour work week and a pay rate of $20 per hour.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, be at least 18, have CPR if applicable, complete required health screenings, and meet federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• Provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
