Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking a qualified educational assistant to support a special education classroom. You will assist the teacher with preparing materials, behavior management, data collection, and implementing instructional activities tailored to students with disabilities.

Under the supervision of a certified teacher and principal, you will help with self-help tasks, classroom organization, and daily administrative duties to ensure a productive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Two years of college or an associate’s degree meets the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and management of classroom activities.
• Support self-help, behavior management, data collection, and instruction.
• Work under supervision of principal and certified teacher.
