Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; proof provided.
• Must hold a valid Ohio Parapro/Teacher’s aide Certificate.
• ESEA qualified designation or two years of higher education (associate’s degree or higher)

Responsibilities

• Take students off bus in the morning and bring them to the classroom.
• Assist students in classes individually or as a group.
• Accompany students to their classes and activities (music, art, gym, computer, swimming).
• Maintain order and continue lessons if teacher is temporarily absent.
• Supervise students during activity periods and assist with restroom and hygiene needs.
• Assist with lunchroom duties and encourage independence; provide positive reinforcement.
