• Assists with clerical tasks associated with the assigned student(s).
• Collaborates with other staff members, including special education teachers, therapists, and support staff, to meet the needs of all students.
• Supports students with special needs or accommodations as outlined in IEPs.
• Uses strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviors and ensure a safe environment for all students.
• Engages in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in special education.
• Supports students in participating in general education classrooms and activities, promoting an inclusive environment.
• Encourages and reinforces positive behaviors and social interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned
