Job summary

Tutor Me Education in San Bernardino, CA is seeking passionate In-Home Tutors with special education experience to provide one-on-one tutoring to students in their homes. You will tailor instruction based on each student’s IEP and support daily activities.

In this role, you’ll conduct engaging sessions, develop lesson plans, adapt materials, track progress, and communicate with parents and teachers. Earn $25-$35 per hour with flexible before/after-school or weekend hours.

At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in San Bernardino, CA! About the Role: As an In-Home Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in the Inland Empire, including San Bernardino, CA.

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in San Bernardino, CA
• Earn $25-$35 per hour
• Choose from Before & Afterschool Hours or weekends (~10-20 hours per month)

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and strategies that align with each student's IEP.
• Adapt materials, assessments, and teaching methods to fit the unique learning styles and needs of each student.
• Track and document student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods as necessary.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams for a cohesive learning experience.
• Keep open communication with parents or guardians, discussing student progress and addressing concerns.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that supports emotional and behavioral growth.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in special education and incorporate them into your lessons.

• Fluency in Spanish ? preferred
• Experience working with students with special needs and accommodations is highly preferred
• Must be enrolled in College or have completed an AA, BA or higher.

• Ability to pass an in-person background check (if required)
