Work Ready seeks a Special Education Vocational Classroom Instructor to teach a VAT program in a high school setting in Round Rock, TX. Classes run for small groups, with 1–3 hours per day, 2–3 days per week, offering both in-person and virtual formats.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 60 college credit hours and a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Classroom Experience.
• Two 30-hour online credentialing courses are required before starting. Paid for by Work Ready.
• Teaching certification is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Teach VAT curriculum to high school students in a classroom setting.
• Facilitate instruction using various approaches focused on Work Personality, Work Interests, and transferable skills.
• Cover both in-person and virtual classes as scheduled.
• Support students through the completion of each VAT course and related assessments.
