Job summary

A non-profit child development organization in New York is looking for a Special Education Therapy Assistant to work one-on-one with children with autism ages 2-3. This role offers training from a Licensed Behavior Analyst and support from a dedicated team. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to work full time, and a passion for making a difference in children's lives. Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour with opportunities for growth and increases.

Qualifications

• Ability to work entire shift Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and monitor the safety of a child.
• Able to provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children aged 2 - 3 with autism.
• Gain skills under supervision of Special Education Teacher.
• Participate in training by a Licensed Behavior Analyst.
