Amazing opportunity to teach a special ed classroom at the DenmanMiddleSchool in San Francisco.
We're looking for a teacher for the SOAR classroom, which is a special day classroomfor kids with disabilities that impact their social, emotional, behavioral and academic functioning.
These kids need a strong, nurturing, and consistent teacher with buckets of patience and a passion for improving the lives of the kids who are having a challenging time at school and with social interactions. If you've worked with these kids before, you know it's tough work, but also incredibly fulfilling to see their successes.

The salary schedules arelisted below.Salary starts at $69,525and goes up to $131,654. Plus medical, dental, and vision.
The school is Denman Middle School, located in Sunnyside/Ingleside, with Ocean Ave running through and home to City College.It's a walking-friendly neighborhood with lots of shops and grocery stores. The Balboa Bart station is three blocks from the school, which means that it's quick access to most parts of San Francisco, East Bay, and South.
