Harmony Science Academy - San Antonio (6-12) seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students' growth in intellectual, emotional, physical, and social areas. You'll develop curricula, prepare lessons, and provide instruction in resource room and inclusion settings.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education. You will participate in ARD meetings, collect student data, and collaborate with families and staff to implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teacher certificate in Special Education and content assigned.

Responsibilities

• Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Public Schools.
• Plans, prepares, and delivers lesson plans and instructional materials that maximize student engagement and learning.
• Collaborates with parents, teachers and other relevant staff members in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law and district policy.
• Attends ARD meetings and prepares ARD paperwork for assigned students.
