Job summary

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania teaching certificate, or eligibility for an emergency permit (sponsorship available)
• Degree in Special Education or related field
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction and interventions tailored to each student's IEP and learning requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, parents, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Monitor progress, collect data, and adapt teaching strategies to maximize student achievement
• Participate in IEP and team meetings, contributing to students' goals and advocacy
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
