Job summary

Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District is seeking Paraprofessional staff to assist teachers, counselors and administrators in delivering educational services to students with special needs. The positions support remedial, enrichment and independent living activities within an intensive behavior classroom, with a 195-day school year and daytime hours.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college coursework or an Associate's Degree or higher or a high school diploma with

Qualifications

• 2 years of college coursework or an Associate's Degree or higher, or high school diploma with ParaPro.
• One year of related successful work experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience operating basic office equipment, such as copiers.
• Ability to lift equipment, supplies and/or children weighing at least forty pounds.
• Physical ability to perform all essential functions of the job.
• A valid Educational Aide Permit or license issued by the Ohio Department of Education.

Responsibilities
