Job summary

Forest Lake Area School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional II to begin August 31, 2026, at Scandia Elementary. The role supports students and staff in daily use of assistive technology, reinforces guidance, and maintains inventory of tools and materials.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and be willing to learn new technology related to SPED. Starting pay ranges from $18.13 to $21.93 per hour, with 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, across 177 days per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with assistive technology tools is helpful.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Willingness to learn new technology related to special education.
• Experience with Special Education students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support student & staff with the daily use of assistive technology tools during instruction.
• Reinforce teacher guidance related to assistive technology.
• Organize tools and materials and maintain inventory systems.
• Assist students loading and unloading buses; CPI training may be provided if needed.
