Orange County Public Schools seeks a paraprofessional to support staff and students in educational settings. You will assist teachers, help with instructional activities, and aid students with daily living tasks while ensuring safety and positive behavior in class.

Successful candidates typically hold an associate degree or higher or paraprofessional certification and have prior experience with special needs students, including crisis intervention and mobility support if needed.

Competenze

• Must have at least an associate degree or higher or 60 college credits with exam substitution.
• Paraprofessional certification required or highly qualified status before start.
• Experience with special needs students is preferred.

• Responds to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, courteous and empathetic manner.
• Provides instructional and developmental assistance to mentally, physically and emotionally disabled students.
• Assists with daily living skills and mobility as appropriate for each student.
