McMinnville School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant – Special Education Assistant (LRC) for Patton Middle School. The role supports licensed teachers to implement lesson plans and ensures a safe, inclusive learning environment for students with special needs.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and small-group instruction, progress documentation, and assisting with testing and health-related tasks as needed. This 183-day position includes holidays and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed teachers in implementing educational programs.
• Support students individually or in small groups.
• Prepare materials and maintain student progress records.
• Promote safe, healthy learning environment and assist with behavior management.
