Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree; related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Specialized knowledge includes child development, disabilities, ABA, inclusive practices, anti-bias instruction, SEL, and assistive technology.
• Background checks (CORI, SORI, SAFIS) are required for all appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students in large, small, and one-to-one settings.
• Assist with accommodations and modifications per IEPs.
• Administer or assist with tests and assessments as needed.
• Correct day-to-day student work under supervision; no parent communications.
• Attend monthly meetings and collaborate with staff; cover classrooms when needed.
