Qualifications

• Establish supportive relationships with students and staff.
• Assist teachers and students in various settings including groups and one-on-one.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with school policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up classroom routines and transitions.
• Inform teachers of observed behaviors needing attention or office intervention.
• Support students needing assistance in collaboration with teachers.
• Help manage student behavior with positive strategies.
• Supervise and maintain discipline in bus area, lunchroom, and classrooms during transitions.
• Follow school-wide expectations and safety procedures during drills and emergencies.
