Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a paraprofessional to support students with special needs on a school site. The role requires licensure or equivalent credits and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners.

Candidates should exhibit strong teamwork with teachers and the special education team, maintain confidentiality, and uphold high standards of reliability and character. An interview will be scheduled for selected applicants.

Qualifications

• Must hold Illinois Educator License endorsed as Paraprofessional or PLS-Paraprofessional License, or have earned 60 college credit hours.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with special needs children.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support collaboration with classroom teachers and special education team members.
• Respectful of student and school confidentiality requirements.
