Job summary

Uintah School District is seeking a part-time Special Education Bus Aide for Eagle View Elementary. The role is up to 29.5 hours per week, voucher position with no benefits. Applicants must be 21 or older and must meet最低 educational requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma; an Associate's degree or 48 college hours, or be willing to pass the ParaPro test upon hire. This position involves assisting special needs students on bus routes and following district procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree or 48 credits preferred.
• Must pass or be willing to pass ParaPro test upon hire.
• Experience with special needs students preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Relate positively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Supervise special education students on AM & PM bus routes.
• Follow outlined procedures consistently and objectively.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
• Work independently at assigned tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.
