Job summary

Royal Truck & Equipment is seeking a full-time Special Assembler with hydraulic and electrical background to join our team. You will assemble and install components on TMA trucks and read blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities include wiring and hydraulic hookups, following safety policies, and meeting production schedules. Prior truck upfitting or vehicle assembly experience is preferred, with strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum two years of truck upfitting or vehicle assembly experience.
• Experience with 12V electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, prints and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, prints, blueprints, and tape measure dimensions to accurately complete tasks.
• Complete assembly tasks within production standards and time requirements.
• Meet quality standards and workmanship requirements for each operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues that may occur during assembly.
• Complete required documentation and production records for each process.
• Cross-train and work in multiple assembly stations as needed.
• Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and use tools properly.
