Job summary

Royal Truck & Equipment, part of the Alamo Group, is seeking a full-time Special Assembler with hydraulic and electrical background to join our team and help build TMA trucks. The role covers reading blueprints and work instructions, installing components on Class 5 and pickup chassis, and troubleshooting electrical issues while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Strong 12V electrical troubleshooting and wiring skills.
• Vehicle assembly and truck upfitting experience.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read blueprints, prints, and work instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as production schedules require.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, prints, blueprints, and tape measure dimensions.
• Complete assembly tasks within production standards and time requirements.
• Meet all quality standards and workmanship requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly.
• Complete required documentation and production records.
• Cross-train and work in multiple assembly stations as needed.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Use basic hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks.
• Lift, carry, climb, kneel, crouch, and perform other physical activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Demonstrate vision abilities for safe and accurate work.
• Work collaboratively to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
