Job summary

The U.S. Secret Service invites applications for Special Agent roles. You will conduct complex investigations into financial crimes and provide protective security for the President, Vice President, and other protectees, supporting national security.

Selected candidates undergo rigorous training at FLETC and additional agency schools, with mobility across the United States and overseas, and a requirement for Top-Secret clearance and fitness standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application.
• Must be willing to undergo extensive background investigation and fitness standards.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex criminal investigations into financial crimes, including counterfeiting and cyber fraud.
• Provide physical protection for the President, Vice President, their families, visiting dignitaries, and other protectees.
• Design, plan, and implement security measures for National Special Security Events (NSSEs) such as inaugurations and international summits.
