ATF seeks experienced Criminal Investigators to join the Homeland Security Task Force as Special Agents. You will perform complex investigations, detect illegal activities, and coordinate with other agencies to safeguard communities.

The role requires meeting robust federal qualifications, completing SABT or equivalent training, and relocating as needed within the United States. Mobility and training are emphasized for career progression.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in criminal investigations with lead roles and interagency coordination.
• Educational credentials as listed (Ph.D. or equivalent; or graduate study toward such degree).
• Experience with surveillance and investigative reporting in a federal context.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the full range of criminal investigations using established methods and problem solving.
• Lead investigations, develop leads, and coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Review evidence, manage case reports, and supervise complex operations as needed.
