Summary

Quest Diagnostics is a leading provider of worksite wellness screening and health improvement programs. During a biometric wellness screening, a trained Quest Diagnostics Health & Wellness provider will collect measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, waist and/or hip circumference, along with a finger stick for glucose and cholesterol levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform biometric screening at client sites, including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, height/weight, and other health screening services based on the service package.
2. Provide basic health coaching based on individual screening results.
3. Perform basic waived testing procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control.
4. Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
5. Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
6. Participate in training, retraining, and continuing education programs as necessary.
7. Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including using protective equipment to prevent exposure to infectious agents.
8. Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, and adhere to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices.
9. Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards during events.
10. Perform other related duties as necessary.

Job Qualifications

Required Work Experience:

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional healthcare setting.
• Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years.
• Proficient with finger stick blood collection and manual blood pressure measurement.

Preferred Work Experience:

• Previous medical or clinical laboratory background preferred.
• CardioChek Plus experience preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Work in a corporate/conference room setting.
• Travel to screening locations (not provided).
• Lift up to 40 pounds.
• Fine dexterity and steadiness with hands.
• Attention to details.
• Access to computer, email, internet, and browser.

Knowledge: N/A

Skills: Proper specimen handling, labeling, processing, transportation, and storage skills.

Work Environment: Travel up to 25%.

Education: Some college courses; medical certification preferred.

Licenses or Certifications: Meet state licensure requirements, if applicable.
