Overview

As a specialized professional, you’ll obtain medical information directly from patients, which can include conducting a personal history interview over the phone, collecting samples, or providing on-site health coaching. This role is integral to our organization, helping individuals make informed life decisions quickly and confidently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services based on service package
  • Perform basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records
  • Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary
  • Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including use of protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents
  • Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws; adhere to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices
  • Maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events
  • Perform other related duties as necessary
Qualifications

Education / Experience

Required Work Experience: N/A

Preferred Work Experience: At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Lift light to moderately heavy objects (1 to 15 pounds frequently; 16 to 40 pounds occasionally; 41+ pounds with assistance)

  • Proficient with finger sticks and manual blood pressure
  • Ability to understand and perform complex procedures and techniques and work with complex instrumentation (Cholestech and/or Cardio Check experience preferred)
  • Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation, and storage
  • Excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, understand and follow detailed procedures
  • Basic computer skills (internet/email)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
