CoxHealth is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the South Sterile Processing team in Springfield, MO. The position supports the department in processing instruments, maintaining sterile supply chains, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Candidates with CRCST or Surgical Technology background will fit well, with no prior experience required. This role offers evening/night hours in a fulltime schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a written proficiency review.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Has detailed knowledge of department functions and completes work assignments in sterile processing.

Job Description

Has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for completing work assignments in the sterile process department.

Education

• Required: Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)

Experience

• No prior experience required

Licensure/Certification/Registration
