Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking Sterile Processing Technicians in Lawton, Oklahoma. Under the supervision of the SPD Supervisor, you will be responsible for identifying, issuing, and charging for patient care supplies and equipment, along with reprocessing goods from the decontamination phase through the terminal sterilization process. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a certification must be obtained within one year of employment. Previous healthcare experience is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Must obtain specialty certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within one year of employment (CRCST).
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous Central Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

DEFINITION

Under the supervision of the SPD Supervisor, the Sterile Processing Technicians are responsible to identify, issue, and charge for patient care supplies and equipment. SPD Technicians are also responsible for reprocessing goods from the decontamination phase through the terminal sterilization process.

EDUCATION
