Methodist Hospitals seeks a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, wash, process and sterilize all instruments used throughout the hospital system. You will set up and assemble items for Operating Room case carts and other departments, ensuring readiness and sanitation.
In this role you will monitor sterilization equipment, identify damaged instruments, and maintain stock levels, while following infection control standards and HIPAA guidelines.
Under direction, to perform work involving the decontamination, washing, processing and sterilizing of all sterile instruments, equipment and supplies used throughout the hospital system. Sets up and assembles all instruments and supplies for Operating Room surgery case carts and for use in other departments.
