Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production operation.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, diagrams and other information related to the process and equipment.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and to work well in a team.
• Experience with process improvement, quality control and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work overtime and different shifts or schedules.
• Willingness to learn new processes and perform various duties as needed.
• Understand that direction can come from different roles and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot SPC Extrusion lines during start-up, normal operation and shut down.
• Monitor key equipment parameters and record data as applicable.
• Inspect product specifications at designated frequencies to ensure 1st quality.
• Perform line walks to monitor product quality, equipment reliability and housekeeping.
• Assist with planning and conducting trial runs for product development and process improvement.
• Assist with troubleshooting quality, production and product issues.
• Help develop and maintain equipment operating and maintenance guidelines.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory policies and provide training for other employees.
• Operate a lift truck as needed and perform housekeeping duties.
