Job description

Spatial Metrologist (CMM) Technician - 2nd Shift {D} (Finance)

Position Overview:

Join our Metrology team specializing in measuring precision optics and optical assemblies. Gain exposure to spatial metrology tools such as large and medium-sized bridge-type Coordinate Measuring Machines, Laser Trackers, Portable Arms, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision inspections and measurements following manufacturing and technical documentation.
  • Handle hardware safely and ensure compliance with standard work and environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Assist team members with executing assignments within the Optical Manufacturing organization.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in manufacturing, including understanding blueprints and tolerances.
  • Experience operating CMMs, preferably Zeiss Calypso.
