Job summary

Augmodo is seeking a Software Engineer to own the logic behind our Spatial Data Ingestion & Conflation Engine. You will build the pipelines that transform raw edge data into high-fidelity insights for customers, with versioned data and production-grade reliability.

You will implement a hybrid AI strategy, combining robust rules-based normalization and RegEx with selective LLMs to tackle high-complexity data matching and entity resolution, ensuring precision at scale while remaining

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building reliable, staged pipelines for complex ingestion tasks.
• Experience merging disparate data sources into a unified Golden Record.
• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering, with judgement to prefer simple heuristics when appropriate.
• Engineering discipline with versioning of code and data schemas.

Responsibilities

• Build Staged Pipelines: design and maintain versioned pipelines for ingestion and conflation of complex data.
• High-Fidelity Output: ensure data outputs meet high quality for dashboards.
• Hybrid AI Strategy: use rules-based normalization and RegEx, plus selective LLM integration for complex matching.
• Scale & Cost Management: architect scalable, cost-effective AI integrations.
• Versioned Data Evolution: manage data schemas and pipeline logic to enable rapid iteration.
