Job summary

Augmodo is building the operating system for the physical shelf and seeks a Software Engineer to own the Spatial Data Ingestion & Conflation Engine, transforming edge data into reliable, production-ready insights for customers.

You will design staged pipelines, ensure high-fidelity outputs for dashboards, and blend rule-based normalization with LLMs to handle complex data matching at scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building reliable staged pipelines for complex ingestion tasks.
• Experience merging disparate messy data sources into a golden record.
• Comfortable with LLMs and prompt engineering; knows when regex/heuristics are better.
• Versioning code and data schemas for engineering rigor.

Responsibilities

• Build staged pipelines to ingest and conflation of complex retail data.
• Ensure high-fidelity outputs for consumer dashboards.
• Implement hybrid AI strategies with bounded rules and LLMs for data matching.
• Scale and cost-manage solutions for large retail environments.
• Manage the lifecycle of data schema and pipeline logic for rapid iteration without breaking downstream insights.
