Job summary

Vantor, a leader in spatial intelligence, is hiring an Algorithm Engineer to develop next-generation computer vision, geospatial analytics, and photogrammetry solutions. You will design, optimize, and validate image processing algorithms while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a strong mathematical/statistical foundation, sensor model experience, and a track record of implementing AI-enabled workflows. Eligible U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant industry or research experience.
• Experience with sensor models.
• Strong statistical background with engineering applications.
• Strong mathematical foundation for quantitative methods.
• Experience designing, implementing, and validating algorithms.
• Experience with multivariable and physical statistical models.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and AI agents used in engineering workflows.
• Flexible and capable of transitioning between tasks with varying scope.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize image processing algorithms.
• Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to engineering problems.
• Research, prototype, and implement AI/vision solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineers, geospatial specialists, and product teams.
• Analyze large datasets and imagery to improve system accuracy.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and discussions.
• Contribute to AI-enabled workflows and engineering practices.
• Support validation and testing of algorithms for robustness.
