Vantor is seeking a highly skilled Algorithm Engineer to advance computer vision, geospatial analytics, and photogrammetry solutions. The role emphasizes strong math foundations, algorithmic development, and production software practices in C++/Python.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with practical software development skills to solve real-world issues involving imagery and spatial data, contributing to AI-enabled workflows and scalable systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as CS, CE, mathematics, physics, remote sensing or geospatial sciences.
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry or research experience.
Experience in computer vision, image processing, or ML solutions.
Strong programming in C++ and/or Python.
Ability to design, implement and validate complex algorithms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize computer vision and image processing algorithms.
Apply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to engineering problems.
Develop production-grade software using C++ and/or Python.
Research, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled workflows and solutions.
Collaborate with software engineers, geospatial specialists, and product teams.
Analyze large datasets and imagery to improve system accuracy and performance.
Participate in system design, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
Contribute to development of advanced AI-enabled workflows and engineering practices.
