Arkana Laboratories in Little Rock, Arkansas seeks a Spark Team Engineer to join Arkana's embedded unit. You will build proofs of concept, own data pipelines, and drive data-driven decisions across departments with a fast, hands-on approach.

The role requires data engineering plus full-stack experience, comfort prototyping, and ability to work with non-technical teams in regulated settings. Self-directed with collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience spanning data engineering and full-stack software work; balance should lean data with production app work behind it
• Demonstrated judgment with prototypes taken to production or killed
• Experience in regulated environments or ability to operate in one from day one

Responsibilities

• Build timeboxed proofs of concept to answer a business question
• Own the data layer of engagements: source data, pipelines, models for POC
• Document decisions and transfer knowledge at each engagement close
• Interface with non-technical builders and end users to capture process knowledge
