The Spark Justice Fund (SJF) is a donor collaborative launched in 2019 that supports efforts to end the correctional control of people of color and the harms inflicted by the criminal legal system on families and communities of color in the United States. SJF supports efforts to decarcerate - this means supporting grassroots organizing and campaigns at the local and state levels aiming to reduce the number of people under pretrial supervision or detention, closing jails, and advancing transformative visions of pretrial justice led by communities most impacted by incarceration.
