Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Arizona) seeks a junior supply chain/operations analyst to support spare parts planning for assigned product groups. You will review demand, inventory, and planning data to help maintain spare parts availability and monitor basic metrics such as fill rate and service levels.

You will collaborate with Regional Planning, Product Support, Supply Planning, Procurement, and other teams to gather inputs for the demand plan, while learning product lifecycle concepts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Operations or related field.
• Coursework, internship, project, or early career experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or related area.
• Basic understanding of supply chain, demand planning, inventory planning, or operations concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in data-driven problem solving.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to ERP or data visualization tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support spares planning for assigned products or part groups.
• Review demand, inventory, and planning data to maintain spare parts availability.
• Monitor basic metrics like fill rate, service levels, and inventory position.
• Conduct root cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Regional Planning, Product Support, Supply Planning, Procurement, and others to gather inputs for the demand plan.
• Learn product lifecycle concepts, spares planning fundamentals, and KLA planning systems.
