Job summary

Community College of Denver is seeking a SPARC Pantry and Resources Assistant on the Auraria Campus in Denver. This work-study role helps students access the Swooper Market and connect to resources that support their success.

The assistant will help manage day-to-day pantry operations, maintain inventory, and provide welcoming, nonjudgmental support to students seeking help, working closely with the SPARC Community and Student Resources Coordinator.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current CCD student enrolled in 6 or more credit hours.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
  • Able to lift 25–30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students in a respectful, welcoming way.
  • Support students during check-in and connect them to resources.
  • Restock shelves and report on inventory.
  • Track pantry usage and maintain inventory records.
  • Promote SPARC services through tabling and campus events.
  • Assist in unloading Swooper Market deliveries.

Job Summary:

Work with the Community and Student Resource Center in the Tivoli! Help students access the Swooper Market and get connected to resources that support their success.

The SPARC Pantry and Resources Assistant supports the work of the Community and Student Resource Center at the Community College of Denver. This role plays a vital part in connecting students to food, mental health, housing, and other community-based resources. The assistant will work closely with the SPARC Community and Student Resources Coordinator to manage day-to-day pantry operations, maintain inventory, and provide welcoming, judgement‑free support to students seeking help.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist students in a respectful, welcoming way
  • Support students during check‑in and connect them to resources
  • Restock shelves and report on inventory
  • Track pantry usage and maintain inventory records
  • Promote SPARC services through tabling and campus events
  • Be able to assist in unloading Swooper Market deliveries
