Academy of Warren is currently hiring Spanish Teachers for the 2025/2026 school year.

The academy will host a job fair on May 22nd, 2025, from 10am to 6pm at 13943 E. 8 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48089. This is an excellent opportunity to meet the team and tour the campus.

Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Spanish Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students with engaging lessons, foster a love for Spanish language and culture, develop a comprehensive curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality Spanish language instruction
• Incorporate cultural activities to enhance learning and appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures
• Create and implement lesson plans meeting curriculum standards and catering to diverse learners
• Assess student performance using tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development
• Contribute to school activities and events
• Maintain a safe, positive environment and effective communication with students, parents, and staff
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance

Additional Demands

• Supervise multiple students simultaneously
• Establish routines and maintain safety and order
• Create instructional plans and participate in professional growth
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing

Physical Demands

• Lift/move objects up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Stand and walk frequently
• Sit, bend, or squat as needed
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform first aid/CPR if necessary and assist/lift students

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, Linguistics, or related; Master’s preferred
• Valid Michigan teaching certification/license for secondary education with endorsement in Spanish
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
