Responsibilities

• Provides content-related and appropriate instruction based on Atlanta Youth Academy’s instructional framework.
• Plan and conduct lessons for a balanced program of instruction with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Administer balanced assessments to meet each student’s needs.
• Foster cooperation among students, colleagues, parents, and guardians.
• Maintain a safe, organized learning environment and integrate technology into instruction.
• Enforce policies, confer with homeroom teachers, and communicate effectively.
• Provide tutoring and prepare for absences; manage attendance and well-being.
