Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a School Based Therapist in Saint Louis to support students’ emotional wellbeing through individual, family, and group counseling within school settings. You will conduct assessments, develop evolving treatment plans, and collaborate with school staff, families, and internal teams to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure as LPC/LCSW/LMFT, and the ability to provide telehealth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT; state licensure required.
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
• Ability to provide telehealth services; training provided.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling in school settings.
• Conduct intake screenings and assessments; develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate with school staff, families, and internal teams.
• Respond to crises and coordinate emergency services.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely authorizations.
