Job summary

Unitus Community Credit Union at Bridgeport Village in Tigard, OR is hiring a Member Advocate to support members by opening new accounts, processing loans, and guiding them through various financial products. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• At least 1 year in a fast-paced customer service role with in-person or telephone assistance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to use technology for work.
• Experience in a credit union or bank with financial services products; cross-selling helpful.
• Ability to become NMLS certified and Notary Public in Oregon/Washington.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members in person to open accounts, apply for loans, and cross-sell other lines of business.
• Process monetary and non-monetary transactions accurately while preventing fraud.
• Develop knowledge of credit union products and teller systems.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to address questions or concerns.
• Strive to exceed sales and service goals with a member-focused approach.
